Alexandra Roszkowska & Telesfor Ratkiewicz (or Radkiewicz) 1. Open

I would like to learn more about my great grandmother Alexandra Roszkowska and further about her family. I know her father is from an old noble family with the Ogończyk coat of arms. I’d like to also know about her mother and her mother’s background details if possible.

I know a few things:

• Alexandra lived somewhere near Bialystok was under Russian partition. I’d like to know exactly where if possible.
• She was raised in a manor house in a big family. I’d like to know if this manor house still exists.
• She was one girl among all brothers.
• Her birth certificate is different from the date on the grave. She was born May, 16th 1889 on the grave says she was born in 1885 which is a mistake.
• She has died on 13 February 1967.
• So she was only 16 years old when she gave birth to her first child Helutka Radkiewicz, who was born in 1905.
• My grandmother is Janina Radkiewicz, born on 1/7/1909 in Russian-controlled Ukraine at the time. Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine.
• Alexandra escaped with the children to Warsaw in 1919
• It took my great grandfather Telesfor 2 years to escape and join them. He traveled by foot.
• Telesfor was adopted, we think, so I don’t know much at all about him. I would love to know more.
