Ancestor Search 1. Open

Trying to find connections and information on my grandfather who immigrated to Canada.  We have a possible last name spelling of  Dyniejko for my grandfather.  I believe the area he came from was Karolin District, Drohiczyn.  We have other family names of Brashavetz and Michniuk which would have been his uncles.  Documentation on the Braschavetz’s who immigrated to the Chicago area of the states that I have discovered through Ancestry.ca shows they came from Popina, Poland.  I suspect that is now Belarus.  All documentation I have found lists their race as Russian and the nationality as Polish.
