Bednarz family search in Mielec 1. Open

I am looking for information on my great grandfather, Joseph Frank Bednarz, in order to trace back the family name Bednarz and locate relatives who may still be in Poland. Joseph was born in Mielec, Podkarpackie, Poland on January 20, 1897 and emigrated to the United States around 1911, arriving in New York on June 6th 1911. I am unable to trace back the ancestry line any further. Thank you for your assistance!

    Update: My great grandfather’s name is Joseph J Bednarz, not Joseph Frank Bednarz. I believe the J initial is the name John.
