Chomik (Homiak/Homik/Chomiak/Chomick) Family/ (associated names: Mlinar/Mlynar/Milnar; Zewan; Zellam; Paydo
Don’t know very much – and have very little documentary proof of what I do know…a lot has been pieced together from dna matches – would love to discover more. Am specifically looking for evidence that supports the names of Anna’s parents (and further ancestors from that point). Am also interested in learning more about relatives still in Poland.
My great great great grandmother was (I think) Anna Charmich (Homick/Chomik) born around 1860 and died before 1914. She married Michael Mlynar (Mlinar/Marner) (born around 1860 – died after 1914) while still in Mecina (I think Mecina – documents I have alternate between saying Austria, Austr0-Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Bohemia, and Mecina Wielka, and Poland). They moved to Pennsylvania – living in Brownsville.
Children of Anna and Michael:
Anna’s parents were (I think) Wasyl (Bazyli) Chomick and Maria Kaczmarek (most of the evidence backing this up comes from tracing matching dna ancestry lines – I haven’t been able to find much/any documents).
Anna’s Siblings (I think):
Where was he born and what were his parents’ names?...Quest Details
