Doliuk/Doluk Family History 1. Open

I have hit a bit of a road block while researching my grandmother’s side of the family. Her mother’s name was Chartina Doliuk (she more commonly went by “Harta”). She was born on Oct. 18/1921 – I was always told that she was born in Kiev, Ukraine, but a few records I found state her birthplace as Datyn, Poland. Her parents names were Nikifor Doliuk and Marfa Berezowski (both born in 1895). They immigrated to Canada as a family in 1930. I have seen their last name spelled as “Doluk” as well. Aside from the immigration records, I cannot find any information on their lives before coming to Canada.
