I’m trying to locate records for my grandparents on my father’s side. On line, I found a Michal Kaminski and Anna Stambulska (the Instabul) married in 1903 in the local church in 1903. Trying to find out more. My father got lost during WW I and ended up in Romania where he remained until we moved to the US in 1977. In Romanian records, he declared himself as Iosif Stambulski ( he never revealed why). He was able to locate his mother through RedCross and visited her in 1972. I know she passed not long after that in 1973- 1975. He had 3 or 4 other sisters, 1 got married, and moved to Canada ( he had some correspondence with her, however, was lost during our move), not sure what happened to the other sisters.
Please let me know if you can help or where can I search for more records such as my father’s birth certificate, and baptismal record.
