Below is some information I have gathered over the many years of researching:
Father (Edward/Elja Feigelsohn) Eli Naftuli:
· born in Warsaw Poland on Jan. 15th, 1903
· Son of Eli Melech Kirshenbaum and Cluve
· about 5 feet 4 inches tall
· limp in left leg due to polio
· paralyzed in left leg – wore a brace
· stocky, no mustache
· dark hair but balding
· smoke cigarettes
· He had 1 other brother and a sister named Sarah
· Went to primary school in Warsaw from 1909-1914 and then went to Gymnasium in Warsaw from 1915 to 1918
· Was in the clothing business – sold bathrobes
· his father made money in WWI and took his son into the family business
· both lost money during the depression
· grandfather was Eli Melech – born in Warsaw and died before WWI
· during the war bought food on the black market
· had help in the house
· Dad looks like his father
· during the war his father hid in the house because he was crippled
· liked to play clubiah
· from a religious family
· Owned a commercial agency for one of the largest textile factories in Warsaw, the Widzewka Manufaktura at Gesia Lane 6 and was making approximately 15,000 Zloty annually – a large sum of money at the time
· The warehouse was of textile products where he employed 6 people in addition to his wife
· Lived in Poland at 67 Leszno Street in a 2 story apartment – they had 2 rooms on the top floor. On the ground floor lived Dad’s grandmother, his uncle and aunt Lewkowicz (all perished in Auschwitz). They had a son named Mietek.
· Worked with Dad loading and unloading furniture in the Warsaw Ghetto (according to US Lawyers at the Marks Law Firm)
· Killed in the Warsaw ghetto uprising (1943 – after Warsaw Ghetto uprising from April 19th, 1943 to May 16th, 1943) by the Germans because he had a limp – shot by Germans in front of his son
Mother (Fela (Fremet or Frymeta)) Feigelsohn nee Kirshenbaum (Kirszenbaum):
· Born Sept 25, 1904 in Warsaw (Warschau)
· Daughter of Freda/Frajda nee Frydman and Chil Yankov Kirszenbaum – they lived at Nowolipie St. 25/44 in Warsaw
· about 5 feet 4 inches tall
· medium build
· black hair
· no glasses
· did not smoke
· came from a religious family
· kept a kosher home
· looked after her husband, Adas and grandmother
· met her husband as part of a setup
· Died in Auschwitz Camp on July 31, 1943 (Tammuz 28, 5703) based on Auschwitz Death Registers, The State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau – Source Page Number 26140/1943. Cause of death listed on death certificate is sudden cardiac death – per KL Auschwitz files was actually shot in the camp

Brother (Adas):
· 5 years younger than Dad – born April 25th, 1930 in Warsaw Poland
· blond and curly hair
· quiet
· went to Hebrew school called Mado (knowledge in Hebrew) located on Twanda (hand in Polish) Avenue in the Jewish section
· Rounded up with brother and mother after Warsaw Ghetto uprising
· Transported with mother and brother to extermination camp called Majdanek in May 1942
· Likely died in Majdanek at the age of 8
Dad:
· Born Feb. 13th, 1925 in Warsaw Poland
· First name was Sewek/Seweryn but in Canada went by Sol
· In some documents referred to as Seweryn Fajgelsohn
· Hebrew name was Shlomo Baruch
· did not wear paas but did wear zizzas
· had a Bar Mitzvah
· went to Hebrew school called Mado
· Went to a school called Krynski Gymnasium and was in third year and was studying to be an architect
· In Aug. 1942 while in the Warsaw Ghetto worked for a company called Karbid Lamp – according to the Marks Law Firm’s review of the Viedegutmachen file
· Was interned on March 20th, 1945 in Concentration Camp Natzweiler/Commando Vaihingen – prisoner number 24370. Prisoner’s number 24370 of Concentration Camp Natzweiler was issued on August 19th, 1944 (transport from Concentration Camp Lublin-Majdanek/Commandi Radom) – based on letter from International Tracing Service of Canadian Red Cross
· Stayed in Majdanek for 2 days (last time he saw his brother and mother) and then taken to an ammunition factory in the camp of Budzyn
· Went to Radom when he was 19 years old (1944)
· Walked 150 miles to a camp called Tomaszow In Poland
· Briefly spent time in Auschwitz (several hours) and then went to Vailhingen in 1944
· Survived for 8 months until the French liberated them on April 7th, 1945
