In the early 1900’s my maternal great-grandfather, John Holody immigrated to the United States and settled in Wyandotte, Michigan. (Suburb of Detroit). For several decades, our family corresponded with the Jadwiga family in Torun, Poland.
My great-grandmother’s name was Helen Grupcynski ( not sure of the exact spelling.) She was from Toledo, Ohio and not sure when she or her family immigrated from Poland.
I believe we have their US immigration papers and passports and need to find them.
Here is the name & address below is from an old envelope from the 1970’s. I’m trying to locate relatives who might be related to John Holody, Helen (Grupcynski?)Holody and Nad. Ciech Jadwiga who lived in Torun.
