Josef August Hennig/Anna Krattenthaler family 1. Open

I believe Josef’s fathers name was Anthony and his mother’s name was Elizabeth but not sure of her maiden name…but not absolutely positive. My grandmother believes she remarried a man by the last name of OTT but that’s all the information she had. Josef was born 12/19/1887 and died 12/23/1953 in Detroit, MI. Anna was born 4/11/1882 and died 12/9/1945 in Detroit, MI. Anna’s parents were Andreas Krattenthaler 8/3/1857 in Pumoran Germany (?) – 4/23/1930 in Detroit, MI and Marie Speicher/Speihart 1/29/1861 Detta Hungary – 8/28/1932 in Michigan.

My great uncle had postcards from people with the last names of OTT that he would write to but they are in German and I tried to translate them online but it didn’t go too well.

I would love more information on Joseph and Anna’s parents and more about this OTT family.

My grandma told me that she heard that her dad got into some trouble with the law and stowed away on a boat to come to the U.S. but my aunts didn’t believe this was true.
