Looking for family from Breslau, Germany, now Wroclaw, Poland.
They were stuck in East Germany after WWII, where many died in 1945. Since that part of Germany is now Poland, I was hoping to find some information.
My great great grandparents were Erstina Strongfelt and her husband Heinrik Kruner. Together they had 9 children, he had two from a previous marriage. Heinrik was an architect in Albendorf where he died from appendicitis in 1895.
Heinrik and Erstina’s children I do know of: Paul, Anna, Agnes (1883-1985 My great grandmother who moved to the USA in 1905.)
I would love to know if any family survived the war, and if I have cousins in Germany.
I believe my family hid their Jewish heritage and I’d like to explore it further. Immigration name in the U.S....Quest Details
