Mayer family search in Lubichowo, Pomerania, Poland 1. Open

Looking for geneological information for my grandfather, August Mayer.  From the information that I have been able to find, he was born in Lubichowo, 26 November, 1882.  This information came from his US World War II draft card.  From his California, USA marraige certificate, his parents were Frank Mayer and Dora T. Know.  I am sure these were Americanized versions of their names.  The story of August also said the he was a stowaway on a freighter bound for the USA at age 15, around 1897 or 1898.  This is all the information that I have for him and would like to trace my geneology further.
