A 1910 Hamburg, Germany Passenger List shows Ignacy Organiszczak, age 22, from Nieszawa departing for America. A January 1913 Passenger List shows Michal Organiszczak, age 18, arriving in New York. His last residence was Nieszawa. The record mentions his brother Ignacy. Michal was travelling with Antonina Organiszczak, age 44, and 5 male children ages 16 to 5. They all last resided in Nieszawa. Her record includes a name and place, followed by gr. father. I am having difficulty reading that information. There is one other record for Michal. He registered for the United States WWI military draft in 1917 and was recorded as Michael Organisciak, age 22, born in Siotkowski (?), Russia. Questions: (1) Is there such a place as Siotkowski near Nieszawa? (2) Would the departure of these people from Nieszawa be recorded in local records, possibly giving more information?
