Possible Relative of the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia 1. Open
I am on a quest to trace my roots and unveil the forgotten lineage of my family, as well as, my potential relation to the Romanov imperial family.
My grandmother, Christina Maria Weinert Mayfield, was born in 1937 in (I believe) Poland, and died in 2014 in Kilgore, Texas. Possible aliases: Christel Weinert
Her parents were Karl and Elizabeth (or Elisabeth) Weinert. It’s possible Elizabeth’s middle name was Maria, but her maiden name is unknown. Elizabeth was Russian descent. Karl and Elizabeth had several children, my grandmother being the youngest. The family was classified as POWs sometime around 1940.
