An Ancestor of mine Jean Pierre Vernier originally from Belfort, France, married a cousin of mine, Edele Genevieve Baumann in France and had 9 children. She died in France in 1819. Sometime about that time, some of their children went to the area of Pulawy, Poland. I do not know why they came to Poland but would like to know this reason. Their first son Pierre Francois David Vernier married in Pulawy (church in Wlostowice), Poland to Marianna Rozalia Hoffman August 20, 1829. They had 7 children that I know of all born in Pulawy. Their last daughter, Marianna Natalia Roszalia Vernier married in 1869 to Piota Tadeusz Czerwinski. I would like very much to bring whatever lines of Jean Pierre Vernier and his children down to the present if possible. Thank you!
