My father’s father was Aleksander Zamirowski, born in Sokolka in 1874. His sister, Marya, was born there in 1881.
Their parents were Andrzej Zamirowski and Domenika Zupkiewicz.
I am hoping for documentation on Andrzej & Domenika and any other children they may have had. I have looked through a translated list of births, deaths, and marriages from Dzieniewicze, which is close to Sokolka and appears to have had more than a few individuals with each family name. There are gaps in the dates and I cannot find anyone whose Christian names match anywhere in what records there are from the 1800’s.
I have not been able to find any online links to churches in or near Sokolka.

When I tried to edit/amplify the above, I am told there is a critical error on the website. I wanted to add that, since I put in my request, I have discovered that there are at least 3 graves for Zamirowskis in Krynki, southeast of Sokolka and just to the west a couple of miles from Dzieniewice. I have doubts that these are close relations, but felt the information was important. I would think that the church records for the Parish of St. Anthony’s cemetery in Sokolka might be the more likely site for the graves of close relations.
